The Instron 4501 has the following specifications:
* Minimum Load Range (Tension and Compression): 0.04 N (4 g) +/- mN (+/- 0.02 g) with 10 N load cell
* Maximum Load Range (Tension and Compression): 5 kN (500 kg, 1100 lbs)
* Rated Load/Speed Capacities:
* 5 kN (500 kg, 1100 lbs) up to speeds 500 mm/min (20 inches/min)
* 2 kN (200 kg, 440 lbs) at speeds between 500 and 1000 mm/min (20 and 40 inches/min)
