Vintage gilchrist electric milk shake maker

This is one of the original Gilchrist milk shake makers. I purchased it at a Woodstock, Virginia, estate sale. It looks well taken care of. The detachable mixing cup is heavy stainless steel with a four-cup capacity. Incised on the bottom of the cup is
"Gilchrist's Number 5M Container Patented Nov 16, 1926."
The mechanical appliance itself is 17-1/2 inches tall and has a 6x8-inch cast iron base covered in white enameling. The rubber-tab shock absorbers on the bottom are still in place and secure. The spine that connects the motor with the base is incised, "Patented Apr 17 and Aug 21, 1923 Patent Pending."
The top front of the motor is labeled, "Gilchrist No. 22 Volts 115 ac/dc Amp .7 Watts 80.5 Serial No. 29645 The Gilchrist Co. Newark, NJ U.S.A." The milk shake blender appears to be in good, useable condition. There are no glaring defects, scratches or dents. The electrical cord seems secure; however, I would recommend having the blender cleaned and checked, since it is an old appliance.
This is a definite "must have" if you are a collector of ice cream novelties or if you enjoy an occasional milk shake made just the way you like it. Doesn't a thick chocolate malt sound great?
