With this kit all you have to do is: (1) open one side of the kiln power lines (2) place the switch shown in the block diagram in series with the power line. (3) mechanically mount the controller and switch( electronic switch should be heat sinked by being mounted on a metal plate )
Switch details : The switch is an electronic one so you don't have to worry about contacts wearing out or switching noise. It handles up to 40 amps at 120 or 240 VAC. Inquire if you need a higher current switch instead )
With this software you can now control as many kilns as you have serial ports on your computer. ( you need a controller as pictured below for each port )
Detailed quickstart connection instructions included that let you setup hardware quickly without headaches. Kit comes wired so that all you have to do is wire in your kiln and thermocouple if not purchased with the setup.
