The SP230 series are multi channel RS-232 line drivers and receivers that provide a variety of configurations to fit most communication needs. Especially where +/-12 volts is not available. Features a shutdown mode to conserve power in battery powered systems. Require no external components. Features a built in charge pump voltage converter allowing them to operate from a single +5 volt power supply. These drivers and receivers meet all EIA RS-232D and CCITT V.28 requirements. These are available in DIP packages
