Phase Lock Loop (PLL) technology is being used to generate accurate frequency in modern advanced synthesizer. And PLL chip is then a critical component in the circuit. The MC145170D2 is a very popular PLL chip from Motorola?in the ?VHF range. Note that the MC145170D2 is the upgrade version of MC145170D1 which is also in SOG-16 package, so the D2 version is the direct replacement of D1 version. This synth chip has a three wire serial interface, consisting of data in, clock and enable.
This is getting rare in the market and I find this spares sitting in my store room, so I would be happy to let someone use it.
