Note the vacuum chamber between the magnet poles. There are both horizontal and vertical vacuum ports.
The image above shows one of the vacuum chamber ports and below it is one of the magnet coil liquid cooling connections.
We measured about 0.4 ohms resistance per coil. With our un-calibrated magnetic field strength meter, we got about 1.7Kgauss at 10 amps (7 volts), 3 Kgauss at 20 amps and 14 volts, 4 Kgauss at 30 amps and 22 volts or 4.3 Kgauss at 40 amps and 28 volts.

The coils are about 7" across and 13 inches long.
The overall length of the vacuum chamber is about 15 inches by 6 wide by 1 thick.
The total distance between the magnet coils is about 3.5". Distance between poles is about 1.5 inches.
Overall dimensions of the assembly are about 21 by 11 by 13 (not counting the lifting ring).
The base plate looks like about 1.5" thick as does the frame that supports the magnet.
