These capacitors were removed from equipment used in a nuclear power plant. The plant requires that all electrolytic capacitors be replaced in safety grade equipment on a regular basis, regardless of the operating condition of the equipment. These capacitors were removed from equipment that was fully functional.
They measure 4 1/8 inches high and 2 1/2 inches in diameter and have tapped screw terminals (screws not included). Most carry a manufactured date code of week 1 of year 2000 (0010L).
