This is a new item in open box. Contents was checked to make sure all items were there including instructions.
SPI advertised the unit as "The Ground Gard IV has been designed to continuously monitor your grounding system. It signals wrist strap failure, improper contact of the wrist strap and faulty grounding connections."
"The Ground Gard IV DUAL continuous wrist strap monitor assures that personnel are always properly grounded. When a failure occurs, the Ground Gard IV immediately signals the operator of the failure."
This is an older model unit. The current model is Ground Gard 4.5 or 5, Please note that SPI and sPI Westek is the same unit.
