This Megger is a compact instrument designed to give rapid, accurate and direct measurement of continuity and insulation resistance of domestic, commercial and industrial wiring, cables, transformers, motors, generators, electrical machinery and appliances.
The 210159 has 4 different voltages test, 100V(up to 100Mohms), 250V(up to 500Mohms), 500V(up to 1000Mohms) and 1000V(up to 2000Mohms) and a low voltage scale of 6V. In the low voltage scale the unit can measure up to 5000ohms and down to 1ohm to check the continuity and integrity of conductors and connections.
The instrument can detect AC Voltage from 0-600V in any scale to check the presence of unexpected voltage before insulation testing is begun.
Since it is self-powered, the instrument is suitable for use during installation and commissioning work as well as for service and maintenance applications.
