DC MOTOR, BATTERY-OPERATED (D-CELLS)
Used, and works great. I bought this at an estate sale. Not a real powerful motor, but I found it works good for most functions, such as polishing, grinding, cutting, winding spools, and as a motor for a small home-built lathe. Battery-operation makes it convenient and easy to transport and use in the field and on site. Of course, it could be re-wired to use an DC power adapter instead or to be switchable between batteries and AC. My recollection is that it is made by Black & Decker but I am not certain of this. 6-1/2" long, 7" tall.
