Modular CNC Technology is proud to offer its latest new product:
4.5" Travel Aluminum Z-Axis Linear Slide
* The actual travel is 4.5"!
* Your slide is made of 1/2" thick 6061-T6 aluminum plates and weighs only 7 pounds with a Nema-23 stepper motor (not included). This strong yet light weight package allows it to be the perfect Z-axis solution for your machine build.
* The New linear bearings are 5/8" ID Bronze (oil impregnated) bearings riding on cleaned and hand polished 1018 Steel Shafts.
* It comes with a 1/2-10 acme lead screw with a steel case nylon drive nut.
* The Nema-23 motor mount is built into the drive end plate and comes with 6061-T6 aluminum standoffs to mount your motor.
* The thrust bearings are flanged back to back 1/4" ID radial ball bearings designed to take all of the thrust forces generated by the lead screw.
* The slide measures 3.06" Tall (at top plate) x 5.00" Wide x 10" Long (12.25" to end of standoffs)
* NEW to this design is a standard 1/4-20 tapped hole (4) pattern in the moving top plate. There is also a set of holes in the base plate for easy mounting to your machine.
