This LCD is dynamic. That means it does not have integrated controller and pixel data has to be sent always. This can be easily done with small microcontroller, such as Atmel AVR ATmega32, Microchip PIC, ARM or similar. In above photo this screen is driven by ATmega32 which is running at 16MHz clock. LCD (at 75 FPS) is using only 51% of microcontroller's CPU time and all free time can be used for other purposes.
Touchscreen can be easily read with specialized controller or simply with two spare microcontroller's ADC inputs.

Example program is written for ATmega32 in assembler language with AVRstudio. It is well commented and fully interrupt-driven, with sleep modes for energy saving. Just imagine what device you could make with this LCD: (hand-held) oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, function generator, security control.. It just depends on your imagination!
