This is a new Pacific Scientific part # 4047125, model # RMC-600, low inertia servo motor. This motor has low inductance and very low inertia (0.00005 oz. in. sec. sq), so the electrical and mechanical time constant is very low. This motor has an auxilliary cooling port if needed. The output shaft is stepped from 0.375" to 0.250". High pulse currents can be applied to this motor to move loads extremely fast. Pulse torque can be as high as 7 times the rated torque.
