3. Description: this is a Compact Air miniature air cylinder (linear actuator), a single-acting (with a spring return) type, standard duty, model QJM96-2932-B. Compact Air Products rectangle cylinders are designed for applications where space and endurance are a top priority. Their slim compact design, allows them to fit into spaces where traditional square cylinders will not. This is standard inch Bore size: 1/2" bore. Pressure rating: 125 PSI. Body type: rectangular; dimensions: 3/4"x1"x1 3/8"; rod end length 3/8", #8-32 tap. Applications: robotics, automation solutions, etc.
Air cylinders are pneumatic linear actuators that are driven by a pressure differential in the cylinder's chambers. One side of a piston flange can be pressurized to provide force and motion with a spring (providing return force after pressure is released).
