(EQUIV. 2N3055, TO220), NOSNew, unused, unpackaged, TO220 steel tabs. Proprietary-marked (e.g. "86612") but sample-testing and replacement use for 2N3055s in commercial equipment indicates about equivalent to the all-purpose 2N 3055. From my sampling tests and actual circuit experiences, these are: 40W, 5A, 80V, 375 KHz, and dynamic AC beta 50 (tested using a B&K Model 161 transistor tester; DC beta or Hfe (what most transistor ads claim) is about 43% higher than AC beta). Perfect for the hobbyist, experimenter, repair technician or business, especially if you don't like your devices easily reverse-engineered. Great for many general applications, including audio applications well into the ultrasonic / sonar range. This may be the time to make sure your inventory is well-stocked! Image is 10X.
